Age Limit 

• (i) 19-33. Candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
• (ii) For SC/ST:19-35; ie; Candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
• (iii) Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste Converted to Christian Community, who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents are eligible for age relaxation upto 35 years ie; candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2004 are eligible to apply for this post (both dates included)

Qualification

• Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala.

Physical Standards

Male Candidates

• Height – A minimum of 168 cms, Chest-A minimum of 81cms around the chest and must have an expansion of 5 cms on full inhalation.

Female Candidates

• (i) Physical Standards: Height-A minimum of 157 cms

Note: (i) Minimum height measurement of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates shall be 150
cm.

Physical Efficiency Test

Male Candidates

Endurance Test: All male candidates shall successfully complete an Endurance test of running 2 Kilometres in 13 minutes.

Physical Efficiency Test: All candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Eight events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency one-star standard test.

• 100 Metres Run : 14 Second
• High Jump : 132.20 cm(4’6”)
• Long Jump : 457.20 cm(15’)
• Putting the Shot (7264 gms) : 609.60 cm(20’)
• Throwing the Cricket Ball : 6096 cm(200’)
• Rope Climbing(only with hands) : 365.80 cm(12’)
• Pull-ups or chinning : 8 times
• 1500 Metres Run : 5 Minutes & 44 seconds

Female Candidates

Endurance Test: All-female candidates shall successfully complete an Endurance test of running 2 Kilometres in 15 minutes.

Physical Efficiency Test: All the Female candidates must qualify in any of the Five events out of the Nine events specified below of the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test for women.

• 100 Metres Run : 17 Second
• High Jump : 106 cm
• Long Jump : 305 cm
• Putting the Shot (4000 gms) : 400 cm
• 200 Meters Run : 36 Seconds
• Throwing the throw ball : 1400 cm
• Shuttle Race (4 X 25 m) : 26 seconds
• Pull Ups or chinning : 8 times
• Skipping (One Minute) : 80 times
